sand screens forum

is it possible to get sanding swirls out of hardwoods? I am not sure if they are in the wood or finish?

there are circular marks from drum sander.l can not tell if they are in the

not remove them without resanding. Swirls are more common than you think &

are caused by the edger during the original sanding process or by the

buffer with a screen pad that is used between coats of polyurethane. A  
good sand & finish guy will buff over the edger areas with a higher grit  
to remove those. You probably have a medium to darker stain on ur floor

run a finger nail over the swirls if it goes bump bump its in

wood floors should have been sanded in line with the grain not in a
